
TERMS OF SERVICE
Article 1 (Purpose)
- These Terms of Service (hereinafter “Terms”) define the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and procedures for users and the Company regarding the use of services provided on the websites operated by DENTIS CO., LTD. (hereinafter “the Company”) at http://www.luvis.co.kr and www.luvismedicalsystems.com (hereinafter “the Website”).
Article 2 (Effectiveness, Posting, and Amendments)
- The Company posts these Terms on the Website for easy access, in accordance with relevant consumer protection laws and information and communications network regulations.
- The Company may amend these Terms. Any amendments shall be posted with the effective date, content of the amendment, and reasons for the amendment at least 7 days in advance. If changes are disadvantageous to consumers, a minimum of 30 days’ notice shall be provided, with a clear comparison of the previous and revised Terms.
- Members may withdraw their registration if they disagree with the amended Terms. Continuation of service use without objection by the effective date constitutes agreement to the changes.
Article 3 (Definitions)
- “Member” refers to a person who provides personal or corporate information to register and receive services from the Company.
- “Membership Registration” means the act of providing information and registering as a member through the Company’s prescribed process.
- “Membership Withdrawal” refers to termination of the service contract by either the member or the Company.
- “Member ID” refers to an alphanumeric code assigned to identify the member and provide access to services.
- “Password” refers to an alphanumeric code designated by the member for authentication and protection of personal information.
- “User” refers to any person using the services provided on the Website.
Article 4 (Formation of Service Agreement)
- The service agreement is established when a prospective member agrees to these Terms and the Company approves the application.
- Registration is completed when the prospective member fills out the registration form, agrees to the Terms, Privacy Policy, and Dispute Resolution Policy, and clicks the ‘Register’ button.
- The Company approves registrations in the order received unless there is a specific issue.
Article 5 (Approval and Restrictions of Service Use)
- The Company approves service use applications in the order received, provided there are no operational or technical constraints.
- Approval may be denied in the following cases :
- Failure to agree to the Terms
- Loss of previous membership rights under Article 5-2
- Provision of false or incomplete information
- Use of another person’s information
- Registration intended to disrupt social order or public morals
- Use for illegal or commercial purposes
- Violation of any Company regulations
- Approval may be delayed if :
- Operational circumstances prevent immediate approval
- The applicant is a minor under applicable law
Article 6 (Collection and Protection of Personal Information)
- The Company collects personal information only with the member’s consent, except where necessary for service contract fulfillment or payment processing.
- Personal information may not be used beyond the stated purpose or provided to third parties, except with consent or as required by law.
Article 7 (Member ID Assignment and Management)
- The Company assigns member IDs according to these Terms.
- Members may view and manage personal information via the Website but cannot modify essential information such as real name or member ID.
- ID changes are generally not permitted. Exceptions require cancellation of the existing ID and re-registration as guided by the Company.
Article 8 (Company Obligations)
- The Company shall endeavor to provide services conveniently and efficiently.
- The Company shall comply with applicable laws and provide continuous and stable services.
- The Company shall establish security systems and comply with its Privacy Policy to protect personal information.
- The Company shall not send unsolicited commercial emails.
- The Company is liable for damages caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence in service provision.
Article 9 (Member Obligations)
- Members must comply with the Terms, relevant laws, and Company instructions.
- Members shall promptly update any changes to personal information.
- Members shall not engage in prohibited acts, including :
- Providing false information
- Unauthorized use of others’ IDs
- Sending illegal programs or causing excessive system load
- Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of information
- Infringement of copyrights or personal rights
- Posting obscene, violent, or criminal content
- Members must pay service fees on time.
- Members may not provide Company services to third parties without permission.
- Members are responsible for safeguarding their IDs and passwords.
Article 10 (Member ID and Password Management)
- Except where legally responsible, members are responsible for the security of their IDs and passwords.
- Members must immediately notify the Company of any theft or unauthorized use.
Article 11 (Service Provision and Changes)
- The Company provides the following services :
- Content provision (clinical cases, research papers, academic materials)
- Software provision (simulation, consultation programs)
- Future services developed or provided in collaboration with third parties
- The Company may modify or suspend services as necessary and will notify members 7 days in advance unless prevented by force majeure.
Article 12 (Information Provision and Notification)
- The Company may provide information to members via email or notices.
- Notifications to multiple members may be posted on the Website for at least 7 days in lieu of individual notification.
Article 13 (Service Availability)
- Services are generally available 24/7 unless disrupted by technical or operational issues.
Article 14 (Service Suspension)
- The Company may temporarily or partially suspend services in the following cases :
- System maintenance, expansion, or replacement
- Communication provider service suspension
- Service overload
- Natural disasters, national emergencies, or power outages
- Other unavoidable circumstances
- Prior notice may not be provided in cases beyond the Company’s control.
- The Company is liable for damages only if caused by its willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 15 (Use of Bulletin Boards)
- Prohibited activities include :
- Defaming the Company
- Personal attacks on members
- Unauthorized use of others’ IDs
- Posting obscene, violent, or illegal content
- Repeated posting of identical or similar content
- Posting advertisements without permission
- Management may delete posts violating these rules.
Article 16 (Copyrights of Posts)
- Copyrights of works created by the Company belong to the Company.
- Assets such as points or virtual currency obtained by members belong to the Company.
- Members may not use such materials for commercial purposes without prior consent.
Article 17 (Contract Termination and Use Restrictions)
- Members may request contract termination at any time.
- Free services terminate upon membership withdrawal, and some services may have restricted access.
- The Company may limit, suspend, or revoke membership without notice for violations, illegal activity, or disruption of services.
- Repeated violations or failure to correct issues within 7 days may result in revocation of membership.
Article 18 (Limitation of Liability)
- The Company is not responsible for damages caused by force majeure.
- The Company is not liable for damages caused by member negligence or third-party actions.
- The Company is not responsible for content posted by members.
- Members are responsible for any damages caused by violations of these Terms.
Article 19 (Dispute Resolution)
- The laws of the Republic of Korea govern disputes related to service use.
- Legal actions shall be brought in the courts of the Republic of Korea with jurisdiction under civil procedure law.
